At some point, many people wonder why they keep feeling the same way, no matter what they try. You might notice patterns in how you feel, love, or work that do not seem to change. This might leave you frustrated, anxious, or a little lost.

Psychoanalytic psychotherapy offers a different kind of help. In a private, steady space, we pay close attention not only to what you talk about, but also to the feelings and patterns that emerge between us. Over time, this can lead to a deeper understanding of yourself, and the possibility of living and relating in ways that feel more free and alive.

This work takes time, but for many people, it is profoundly meaningful.

I offer a thoughtful, private space to explore the patterns that shape how you feel, work, and relate to others. My approach is psychoanalytic, grounded in curiosity about both your conscious experience and the less-visible ways early relationships and unconscious feelings influence your life today.

This kind of work is not about quick fixes. It is about making room for new ways of understanding yourself and living more fully. I typically meet with people once or twice a week, and my practice has limited availability at this time.

As a psychiatrist, I may prescribe medication when it feels appropriate. If we consider that together, I will talk with you carefully about the risks, benefits, and options, so we can make a thoughtful choice that supports the deeper work we are doing.
