INSURANCE

I am an out-of-network provider and do not accept insurance or deal directly with insurance companies. I can provide you with a receipt upon payment, which you can submit to your insurance company if you have out-of-network benefits and reimbursement.

PAYMENT

Fees are due and payable upon completion of the visit. Please make checks payable to Jonathan Moran, M.D.  This office does not deal directly with insurance carriers. Your invoice statement will include all of the information necessary for insurance claims. We suggest that you submit the claim as soon as you receive the statement and keep a copy for your records. The patient or responsible person is ultimately accountable for all fees due to Jonathan Moran, M.D.

LATE OR MISSED APPOINTMENT POLICY

Patients will incur charges if appointments are missed without prior notification. The full session fee will be charged for cancelled or missed appointments unless 24 hours notice (one business day) has been given.

Prescription Refills

For patients on medication, please allow two business days for a prescription refill. Please state the full name of the patient, birth date, medication name, dosage, frequency and pharmacy telephone number in your message.

Email Communication

Email may be used for setting up appointments and contacting Dr. Moran regarding cancellations and rescheduling. Please do not use email to convey clinical information and note that doing so is at the patient's risk given the potential lack of security/confidentiality over email. Please do not use email in medical or psychiatric emergencies.

Emergencies

In the event of an emergency during the hours of 8am to 6pm, Dr. Moran can be reached at the number (774) 421-9394 and will try to return your phone call within one hour. However, if you are having an after-hours emergency, you should call 911 or proceed to your nearest emergency room. Please ask staff at the hospital to contact Dr. Moran by phone. Please do not use email to transmit urgent clinical information in emergency situations.
